Adielenah (Lenah) Perez
Growing up in the Bronx, Adielenah only ever wanted to be a filmmaker. After receiving her Bachelors and interning at some of the best post houses, she moved on to forging her skills as an editor in the music scene of Mexico City.
There her clients included Coca-Cola, Discovery Latino and LG Electronics, to name a few. She learned the value of editing quickly while finding and maintaining the voice of the footage.
In the almost calamitous transition from Final Cut to Adobe Premiere of 2013, she began focusing on producing and writing as a means of avoiding that dreadful switch! Turned out she loved it!
Since she has written and produced several scripts, and obtained a master’s degree in screenwriting. One of her goals is to bring true diversity onto her film sets both behind and in front of the camera.
She aims to work on films that elevate voices that are otherwise not being heard and believes you need a diverse crew in order to do that.
The most important thing she brings to a set is a keen sense of problem solving. Her moto: "F*** yea, we can do this!"
